FAQs
How do I use castor oil?
- Castor oil pack: Pour one tablespoon onto the cotton side of your pack, place it over your belly or liver area, and rest for an hour or overnight.
- Navel oiling: Lie down and fill your navel with a few drops, or keep it in place with a navel patch.
- Hair, brows and lashes: Massage a few drops into your scalp, or smooth along brows and lash line at night.
- Skin: Press a few drops into slightly damp skin as the last step of your evening routine.
Will castor oil clog my pores?
Castor oil is generally considered low on the comedogenic scale, so it is unlikely to clog pores for most skin types. Every skin is different, so start with a little, a few nights a week, and patch test first, especially on your face.
Can I drink castor oil?
Elham’s castor oil is meant for topical use only.
How should I store my castor oil?
Keep it in a cool, dry place away from heat and direct sunlight, with the cap closed tightly. Our amber glass bottle helps protect it. For best results, don’t pre-mix it with other oils or essential oils in the bottle.
